Hattersley valves have been installed into the £3.5 million redevelopment of Compton Hospice in Wolverhampton, which now boasts 18 single bedrooms with en-suites, a therapy unit, 2 treatment rooms and an overnight stay area for relatives and carers. The valves have been installed on the pipework throughout the hospice, to control the flow of fluids in the HVAC system.
The hospice opened in 1982 to provide palliative care to patients facing life-limiting illnesses in Wolverhampton, Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall, South Staffordshire and East Shropshire. At £3.5 million, this is the biggest investment in the building since it opened.
